In this age of PC-ism. Had to laugh.
Was reading a story about the arrest of a burglar caught in the act.
He was, according to the story.................
"arrested via the use of an electronic control device, commonly known as a Taser."

Gee, and I thought electronic control devices were called 'remote controls'.

Meow.

Shouldn't that be Taser®? Which is what all the PC is about, nasty letters from lawyers telling you they will sue if you disparage their client's trademark.

Well, my Powerball ticket for tonight was a bust, so I guess I'll have to plan on going to work on Tuesday........

Hopefully one of these days your ticket will win.

Homeless kitties all over the country would rejoice.....LOL.
Not likely. But, the odds if you buy a ticket are still better than if you do not play.

Hmm, since our lottery started in Nov '94 I've had quite a few nice wins :-) In fact the proof was occasionally posted on these boards. For an annual spend of £156 (£3 per week) it would take xxxx years without a win to start showing a loss :-)

The only way to guarantee winning at a lottery is to be the organiser.

Or the computer programmer.

Well, in the case of the Powerball game, the winning numbers are picked by randomly drawn balls. So computer programming skills or hacking would not help ya.

Ah but all my winning numbers were picked randomly by computer :-)

But that is a moot point when the end result is determined by random chance.

True, but when using a "fixed" set of numbers, it's not truly random.

Well, if you report that the draws look random but they are not ...

Speaking of lottery.
http://www.ozy.com/flashback/the-grand-comedy-of-chinas-biggest-bank-heist/65062
Winning the lottery may not be such good luck after all. That’s what happened to Ren Xiaofeng when he bought tickets with borrowed money, winning enough to pay it all back. You can guess what happens next, right? Going for that winning ticket proved addictive and, unfortunately for Ren, the “borrowed” money came from a bank vault that he was responsible for keeping safe.
So begins the tale of China’s biggest-ever bank heist.

"£$%^&U*I)_+ Vic - not at all nice.
I hope you are OK (apart from impending damage to your finances that is)
The rim should be OK - I've had far worse blow-outs than that and the rim has been unscathed because the remnants of the tyre has ended up between the rim and the road surface.

Looks pretty low miles. Did you check to see if you had any warranty?
