Fox News continues to focus on the debate about how immigration is breaking Sweden. One guest last night, described as a ”Swedish defense and national security advisor”, spoke about the problems caused by criminality in Swedish cities and suburbs. But neither the Swedish Defense Ministry nor Foreign Office have heard of the expert. Nils Bildt, who called for an “open and honest” debate on crime, has previously been convicted of a violent offence in the United States.

Nils Bildt, who spoke on Fox News about crime in Sweden, is convicted of a violent offence himself, according to documents from Arlington General District Court in Virginia. Bildt was arrested on the 19th of June, 2014, for assaulting a law enforcement person and for obstruction of justice, after threatening an official. He was sentenced to one year in prison on the 10th of November the same year. He was also convicted of public inebriation at the same time.

Johan Wiktorin, a former defense analyst at the Military Intelligence and Security Service, MUST, says that he has never heard of Nils Bildt. ”He is unknown in Sweden as an expert on national security. The depiction of Sweden as a problem country in American media is a disturbing trend.”

There is a video clip included in that news item, 'Where do Donald Trump supporters get their news from?' In the very beginning of this clip, at about 00:20, it sounds to me, that the guy says: "If you really want to be sure, you just take a position 190 degrees opposite - -"
The Trumpians' have so distorted a view of everything, that even their alternative circles apparently have 380 degrees.

As far I can see CNN and MSNBC has correctly described the Sweden "incidents".
Fox News as well. But getting the crime rate wrong.

Wikipedia launches news website to combat the rise of ‘alternative facts’.

Internet entrepreneur Jimmy Wales has created Wikitribune, in what he says is a bid to help combat the rise of fake news in Donald Trump’s America.

The new site will be free to use, but also accept donations from monthly “supporters” who will then be able to suggest topics to be covered — while the site also says it will publish full transcripts of interviews where possible as part of transparency plans.

Mr Wales said he was inspired to create the news project in part due to the rise of “alternative facts” since Donald Trump was elected President.
