UNIAN: Ukraine against Scooter band. The members of the band who arrived in Russian-annexed Crimea on August 4 are facing up to eight years in prison, press secretary of the prosecutor's office for Crimea Tetiana Tykhonchyk told.

P.S. "According to Tykhonchyk, Ukrainian prosecutors will send inquiries to the German authorities to provide international legal assistance in interrogating the group's members."

LOL:)
If the Scooter band wore Adidas track suits and driving a BMW they would be called OSS's in Estonia.

In Russia Scooter fans are called Gopniks;)
What is Gopniks?

Scooter front man H.P. Baxxte said last month the band was going to Crimea to perform music for its fans there, not to engage in politics.
No comment was immediately available from the band on the prosecutor's charges.

Are Ukraine supplying rocket engines to North Korea?
According to New York Times they are.
"North Korea’s Missile Success Is Linked to Ukrainian Plant, Investigators Say."
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/14/world/asia/north-korea-missiles-ukraine-factory.html
Or are they?
Transcript from an interview with the investigator Michael Elleman.
http://www.npr.org/2017/08/14/543477518/north-koreas-secret-weapon-in-nuclear-program-ukrainian-rocket-engines
ELLEMAN: Well, I don't know that it came from Ukraine. In my writing, I think I was very specific in saying that the most likely source would be Ukraine.
We've seen the modifications that were incorporated into the engine that the North Koreans are using.
I have two independent sources that have said they've seen that engine in Ukraine. It doesn't mean that it came from Ukraine, but it strongly implies that.
But I want to make one point very clear. I don't think the Ukrainian government was involved in this at all.
I don't even know that executives from the Yuzhnoye plant would have been involved.
This, to me, sounds like criminal gangs were able to access something and export it from either Ukraine or Russia.
Yes, pure speculation and bad journalism.
NYT Editor Dean Baquet will probably say it's all about ratings.

As a subscriber to The New York Times for decades. I used to consider them a Reliable Source, abet with a point of view.
No more.
I am seriously considering cancelling my Home Delivery.

I still think NYT is quite reliable comparing to other news outlet.
But I'm surprised though that not reading it so much (NYT gives you only a few free articles a month on the internet) I have managed to read two articles that are factual wrong in just of couple of months.
Ukrainian rockets and Norway/Russia border "conflict".
Maybe I should read Russian news instead:)

LOL. That's not news to us Nordic people.
The Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and the Swedish editions of Sputnik where cancelled only two or three years ago.
I wonder why:)
However the Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian editions will be there for many years to come...

Ukrainian soldiers, who previously fought against "the pro-Russian separatists", later, in civil life, goes to work in Russia. And they are very much surprised when they see problems because of this reason - https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ru&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Flike.sumy.ua%2Fnews%2Fobshchestvo%2F6472-bezopasen-li-v-ezd-v-rossiyu&edit-text=

P.S. Ukrainian media call this "repressions". At the same time, every year Ukrainian Border Guard Service reports about many thousands Russian citizens was banned to entry on the Ukrainian checkpoints, but it's of course right business, not repressions...

From your link to the article nothing is mentioned about repressions.

Dear citizens of Ukraine! Be careful when dealing with representatives of the Russian law enforcement agencies - your safety is not guaranteed in the territory of a neighboring country!

Hungary initiates revision of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement because Ukraine violate rights of the Hungarian minority.

The Ukrainian Education Act is fundamentally in breach of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs said. He also stressed that the new Ukrainian education law creates a worse situation for the Hungarians and other minorities than the former Soviet system. The minister said it is unacceptable that "close to the EU, in the 21st century, schools should be closed because they teach in a minority language".

Ukrainian Minister of Defense commented on the statement of the chief military prosecutor Anatoly Matios about the 10 thousands non-combat losses in Ukrainian military forces since 2014. Non-combat losses of servicemen are due to illnesses, violations of security measures and alcohol.

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2F112.ua%2Fato%2Fpoltorak-neboevye-poteri-voennosluzhashhih-proishodyat-iz-za-bolezney-narusheniy-mer-bezopasnosti-i-alkogolya-417968.html

P.S. 3 thousands of combat losses vs 10 thousands of non-combat losses... Well, it's Ukraine.

Civilians and DPR and LPR forces losses are also included as non-combat losses in Ukraine.

So we are down to 3,809 western Ukraine servicemen losses.

Moomin, please don't mix apples and oranges. Try to read source firstly.
The chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios said about more than 10 thousands non-combat losses of Ukrainian servicemen - "I now want to voice terrible statistics that no one is talking about. From 2014 until today, 10,103 people died as a result of irretrievable and sanitary losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in other units that defend the country, that is, not as a result of hostilities".
