Self assembly, Caterham 7 I though it might keep you occupied and off the streets. We, of a certain age, sometimes act like seventeen year old's instead of our real age ;-) |

Not too interested in a Porker, but I could quite comfortably live with one of these: Bowler XFR-S Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

What to do, what to do??? Do as Jan Emanuel did. Become a politician. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Emanuel_Johansson He lives a life in luxury on the taxpayers' money. Former Social Democrat politician Jan Emanuel Johansson, 41, bill taxpayers SEK 60 000 (6,000 Euros) per month - per child - to arrange foster homes for unaccompanied refugee children. The families receive only 22 800 SEK (2,200 Euros). |

I am going to need a new car. VW agreed to buy mine back. Turns out buying a TDI is going to be a good thing after all. Anybody have any experience with the Mercedes GLA200 CDI |

Nope, just stay away from the 2005-2006 Mustang, the master power relay if parked in freezing temps or lower, will suck the battery dry, that happened to Me, the double dealing dealer would only charge the battery and send me home, turns out this problem was fixed in 2007 supposedly, the dealer did not want to honor the warranty on the car, they tbought I should not own a Mustang GT and wanted to make Me sell it back to them, so that the dealer could sell the car to someone else, that backfired on them, I went elsewhere, they sold tbeir dealers in Barstow CA. Well.... That's why every car I ever decided was going to be a 'keeper', I bought the original factory service manual for. When one cannot trust or pay others, one learns to fix it themselves. Especially true now, as I drive a 26yo Olds Cutlass Ciera, and the dealers would laugh at you if you brought it in for 'factory service'. Laugh all the way to the billing department. look around for a good used one, they all feel more or less the same. and if you find more money, the sky's the limit with engine upgrades That depends on if you are able to do the work yourself. I, back in 2003, flew with a friend to pickup a '95 Mazda GXLSE. Vintage car. And they used no road salt in the Georgia area, it was a local car. Showing some 150,000 miles on the OD. Flew into the Georgia airport and the owner picked us up, drove us to a suburb, Alpharetta. He had put a used, tired motor in the car. But the little thingy still flew, and got us back to Wisconsin in fine style. Point is......... I had Mazdatrix build me a new motor for that car, and I happened to have a good friend that was a mechanic, and a second good friend who owned the shop he worked in. And we installed that motor for a couple hundred bucks and change.......and maybe a few cold six packs. That car still has less than 20k on the engine, and every year that goes by there are fewer of them around. There is still no rust on the underside of mine, as it has been parked for a lot of the time I have had it, and never run in the winter here. They are useless on snow anyway, as they are so light there is no traction to be had. I will bet that I can beat ANY stock '85 GSL or GSLSE still on the road based in this state. The last road race I had was back 4 years ago, and I wiped the guy clear offa the road. And since then, I had the posi differential rebuilt with all new clutch pack and 4:11 gears...stock was not bad at about 4:00 or so. Meowrotaries! Right now I have my hands full, between not being able to clone my os hdd and having a neighbor put on 4 struts on my car, though I think I might have the pc problem almost licked, I found a Seagate Baracuda that I might be able to afford, if it doesn't go past $10.46, it's at $0.99 now, at least shipping is FREE. Vic...please restrain yourself. I got into a little bit of hot water making you a small donation for your kitty's care. You are not making it any easier for me to have justified it when you continue to carry on about computer expenditures.
