Another week has flown by again and as I'm having a rest day today the celebrations will certainly get underway here in 3 hours.

Doing the whole yard in 1 hit yesterday has enforced the rest (I'm certainly not going to try that again), but showers with storms are expected here today and tomorrow it had to be done, though that won't stop me from downing a few. ;-)

Was able to prepare to receive Thor on his day. Celebrations on his day with watering holes closed however will be muted.

Fortunately in his wisdom he created Thanksgiving so you can give thanks for his design.

I'm sorry Gary, but I just can't imagine what you guys are putting up with over there (and in many other countries around the world) and to me it's totally beyond my comprehension. :-O

Which is likely why I call it like a marathon race the way I do and I'm just as glad that I live in the type of country (and out in the sticks) that I do, but again this event has prevented me from doing my usually planned winter trip away from the top of this mountain range as I'll stay away from those major centers that I'm quite late for a return visit while being in a bad risk range (I have missed seeing the reaction of people who see me getting around in shorts, T's and thongs (that's flip-flops to you perverts out there) during mid-winter here, though luckily I'll be 1 of those in the 1st group to be eligible to get shots (after health workers and those in care homes) so I could be bumping others out of the way to get it.

Anyhow stay COVID Safe out their fellow Thorites around the world (?) and don't take my mostly happy and unusual outlook on life (though some come see it differently) to mean that some of you out there can do as we do here as we have a totally different environment to live in. ;-)

It was a great Good Thorsday here yesterday (I got paid a day early this fortnight). ;-)
