They're slightly wasteful *rummage in brain for what American's call them* corn cob holders when hands just won't do, and when you can't be bothered trying to spear them onto those little cob holder spikes. To prevent retaliatory action, best suited for a dining environment with plenty of elbow room.

Yes, it does.

It can be used in this manner, it also has the advantage in improving the accuracy of the cob's trajectory when aiming towards a wastebasket.

Have to pass on the yarn spindle, too...

Two good hints so far - combine (..the obvious definition we're playfully avoiding of..) ravelling and Pretty Young Things.

Spaghetti winders? For more controlled serving *examine tool closely* would probably work quite well with tagliatelle too I suspect.

Spaghetti winder?.. that would work! It looks like it can hold a meatball or two, and (like the cob holder), will improve your aim toward the plate.. or a PYT.

I live near a 15,000 student college campus, and I, being an old fart, see a crying need for someone to start flinging meatballs at some of these PYTs, esp. between midnight and 3am. on weekends. But I digress.
