it would be great if there would be a CAM CONFERENCE, so some participants might talk from all over the World?! also, you might think about streaming a Live video feed from the conference?! ;) non-profit org. Play4Life in Zagreb, Croatia, EU |

Alas, even if there was a live camchat, I would be in my cube farm in NYC, and unable to attend...I will keep an eye out for this on YouTube! |

Did anyone hear what Andrew Siemion had to say? I can't find any mention of his talk - indeed, hardly any signs of life - at either http://www.breakthroughinitiatives.org/News http://www.seti.org/ |

This comment I'm throwing out is neither here nor there. This is the first board I've come to that's user friendly to me. I "think" I've commented here before. Okay, here's my thought: What if the big bang, when our universe began, was just another universe's emptying out of one of their black holes? We came from nothing. Well, nothing was there. Then there was something there. We don't know where the universes go that the black holes swallow up. What if our beginning was another universe's end? And on and on.. Is my thinking naive or has this been hashed to death already? I don't know. I haven't been here that long. Kerry from USA |

You should post in Science (non-SETI). There you would find people able to discuss your views. Tullio |

There are unusual stars. They are moving from one galaxy into space, to near galaxy. It has speed about 800 km/sec or more. Would you will investigate these stars also, please? Other civilization can use it for trip in other galaxy. If I know that our galaxy will collapse with galaxy M31 and if I have a money, I will try to escape from our galaxy in this dangerous time. |

Did anyone hear what Andrew Siemion had to say? The talk is now online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDT6E4SbVow - the specific role of SETI@Home in Breakthrough Listen comes towards the end, around 49:50 on the timeline. |

From what I heard Breakthrough Listen will make use of three telescopes, an optical at Lick Observatory for optical SETI with lasers, and two radiotelescopes, Green Bank in the Northern hemisphere and Parkes in the Southern hemisphere. And Arecibo? Tullio |
