I updated my two laptops to V8 last week. This morning one of them had no new tasks. When I brought it to work, still no new tasks. So, I looked more closely at Manager and saw I had been detached from the project, but not by my own doing. (I have re-attached after the outage this morning.) Anyone know why this might have occurred? If so, please PM me. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Anyone know why this might have occurred? If so, please PM me. I have had it happen on rare occasion during a bad OS crash. Must just depend on what Boinc is doing at the instant it crashes. In some rare instances, the project just goes poof. And it would seem to only affect a project that is running tasks at the time, as other inactive projects have remained attached. I have not done any v8 updating yet, waiting for the Lunatics folks to finish the new installer, so I don't have any insight as to whether that would have any bearing on it.
