Perhaps arming teachers is not such a good idea... FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—A Marjory Stoneman Douglas teacher was arrested after he left a loaded gun in a public restroom and a drunk homeless man found it and fired it, according to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. |

As to Nevada, what you linked is rules of Las Vegas Convention Center, not Nevada law. Yes, Nevada voters passed a law to require the checks, but it is not enforceable due to a spat between the FBI and Nevada State authorities.LVCC is a Nevada government facility. I've also seen states where every seller at the show must be a licensed dealer. A show promoter runs a rather large risk otherwise and I'm not sure you could get the necessary liability insurance. But YMMV. |

In states such as Texas, an undocumented migrant is not allowed to get a driver’s license. But anyone — even a member of the MS-13 gang without papers — can potentially walk into a gun show and buy a semiautomatic rifle. Organized crime groups are taking advantage of this every day. Nice story... But I think it's just that. Is this widespread (maybe 2% of the sales)? It does make a good story to sell papers to those that never have been to a "Gun Show" and don't know any better. |

Do you have any explanation how 75,000 firearms initially bought in the US find there way south of the border. |

Smuggling, of course. Lots of firearms are stolen. Wind up in Mexico, and I believe Canada. Straw purchasers buying from Federally licensed firearms dealers (especially in Arizona). Including with the help of the US Federal Government (Operation Fast & Furious back during the O'bummer Presidency). Oh, and that opinion piece in the NYT is quite ignorant in what it says. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

Another example why people should not have guns. A teen missed the bus to school. When he knocked on a door for directions, a man shot at him |

Alex Jones Is Facing Two Lawsuits From Sandy Hook Families. The problem is they don't have enough money to compensate all their victims for their actions. |

The Inventor of the Bump Stock Is Ending His Business Bump stock manufacturer Slide Fire Solutions LP will stop taking orders and shut down its website next month. The closure comes after months of scrutiny caused by the use of a bump stock—an accessory that allows semi-automatic weapons to fire at the rate of an automatic—in the October 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, the deadliest in modern American history. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/the-inventor-of-the-bump-stock-is-ending-his-business/ar-AAvZCtd?li=BBnb7Kz |

Another whacko on the loose And he got his gun from the FBI! https://apnews.com/adb9bf5dab8f41f79851bbc6c6dfe2ac/The-Latest:-Suspect-arrested-last-year-near-White-House Metro Nashville Police Department spokesman Don Aaron said 29-year-old Travis Reinking’s firearms authorization was then revoked at the request of the FBI, and four weapons were seized, including the AR15 that he allegedly used in the shooting at the Waffle House restaurant early Sunday. Four people were killed. |

"Aaron says the four guns were returned to the suspect’s father, who acknowledged giving them back to his son."All because America "loves" the 2nd amendment :-) No the police are idiots, but that is a given. If the kid didn't have the guns registered to him the cops should have kept them for an illegal transfer. If they were registered to the kid, when they gave them to the dad they made an illegal transfer. Police are 100% at fault in this one! |
