You don't need to mention. However political or meaningful music most of us as humans don't act on it. If we did we would be in constant turmoil.

To be honest I think this is all America's thing. It's lost it's old hates. The USSR is gone, China has gone all Comu-Capitalist. All that's left is to get bad-ass with the AyRabs, Muslims and Euro.

It's not strange or funny at all.

Regardless of the US TV of the 1970\80's that attempted to show Irish and Italians as a dominant set in the population and police force (Kojak) the largest ethnic group is Germanic in roots.

Strange given our history of the "New World" talks of the British, Spanish and French as colonisers... Yet it is Germans who dominate..

Yodeling isn't only a German thing.. but perhaps current day Americans just can't help themselves.

Yes, and the geneticts in midwest america at least here in Wisconsin, are mostly German in origin.
My grandparents went to work.
My grandfather on my father's side was a shoemaker. Led to the Shoemaker's brand.
My grandfather on my mother's side was a machinist. Led to the Knight side of my name. Mostly men that knew how to make things with their hands.

Hmmm. As far I know most Scandinavian and German immigrants live around the Great Lakes.
But yodeling is more predominate in Southern States where they like to play Country and Western.
