Hi.

I found interesting hoster, that provides cheap VPS with 4 ARM cores and Fedora 22 for armv7hl-pc-linux-gnu.

Can you make tasks for that platform?

All the tasks are the same. Tasks are not made for specific platforms.

It is the science applications that need to be coded for each platform whose job it is to process the tasks. I know there's an ARM app for mobile phones, but I don't know if it would work on your platform or not (I'm guessing not).

Since the project scientists are rather busy with maintaining the server infrastructure, it is up to any volunteers with time on their hands to download the source code and make/compile the applications on their own. Science applications are only maintained by the staff for the popular platforms for obvious reasons.

I have compiled it from source and I have
seti_boinc

setiathome-7.28.armv7l-unknown-linux-gnueabihf

setiathome-7.28.armv7l-unknown-linux-gnueabihf.debug

I have created
/home/binc_data/bin/projects/setiathome.berkeley.edu/app_info.xml
with content

<app_info>
<app>
<name>setiathome</name>
</app>
<file_info>
<name>seti_boinc</name>
<executable/>
</file_info>
<app_version>
<app_name>setiathome</app_name>
<version_num>728</version_num>
<api_version>7.7.0</api_version>
[ <flops>5</flops> ]
[ <avg_ncpus>3</avg_ncpus> ]
[ <max_ncpus>3</max_ncpus> ]
[ <cmdline>args</cmdline> ]
<file_ref>
<file_name>seti_boinc</file_name>
<main_program/>
</file_ref>
</app_version>
</app_info>

but it's not working

I can't understand - why Not requesting tasks: don't need () ?
