Is it just pot luck if an AstroPulse gets allcoated to the GPU or CPU? Yep. Although with most GPUs, they process WUs much faster than the CPU, so they'll be requesting work more often and so are more likely to get AP work than the CPU. Grant Darwin NT |

For @David@Home .... if you haven't done any tasks for an application yet, it takes 11 validated tasks of that type before your APR for the app to be calculated and your estimated times to completion to be fairly accurate. Yep, just luck of the draw. ;-) Cheers. |

Any updates on RX480 fixes testing? SETI apps news We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them. |

Any updates on RX480 fixes testing? Unfortunately no. Being attached to 10 GPU projects, I have had no success in getting the server to send me an AP task :( ... and still I fear, and still I dare not laugh at the Mad Man! Queen - The Prophet's Song |

Got one this time round. Will take a long time to get off the 4 day etimated time to complete which must be working against me downing more work as BOINC Manager will think my cache is full! Still I got the 1% badge today, I must be right on the boundary RAC wise for silver/gold badge. Maybe I need to stop the 1% I give to the POGS project ;-) |

And the kitties clawed in 32 so far! Meow, kitties! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Up to 18 now here. :-/ I've managed to pick up.... 2 more. It looks like systems that have issues with general v8 work allocation when the Scheduler misbehaves also have problems picking up AP work it's available. Grant Darwin NT |

I didn't get any more after the 32 that I mentioned last night. They should be coming to the top of my caches pretty soon. Except for 3 of them that were issued to CPUs. They will take a bit to be crunched. Meow. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Of course, I will be Robbed...but I'm use to it. I really shouldn't even bother, my machine actually loses points when it runs an AP instead of Arecibo tasks. |

Well I wound up with 19 of them and the last 4 (CPU tasks) are in progress now. Cheers. |

I see that we are now doing '07 datasets with the new applications. And they appear to have some unprocessed AP work as well. Got a few of them coming in here! 9 so far this morning. Meow! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |
