Hi I have problem with my new desktop seti@home GPU works. Computer does random jams ( 12-48h) ( DIsplays says that "check cabling") Reset helps only to this. No any traces on log that driver or something else on software side has failed. I contacted manufacturer of gpu ( ASUS MATRIX-R9290X-P-4GD5 ) and they said that I should test desktop with other test software ( Furmark for GPU burnin test, runned it 48 hours ) Every test passes. On seti@home crouching , max GPU temp is 82C , on furmark it was 96C No elsewhere are that kind of failures occured, only on seti@home GPU crouching. Cpu crounching works ok. Computer details : Cpu : Intel I7 4790 ( stock clocks ) (Liquid cooled) Mb : Asus Z-97 pro gamer memory : COrsair 1600 ddr3 16 Gb kitt Psu : FD Newton R2 800W, 80 PLUS GPU : ASUS MATRIX-R9290X-P-4GD5 |

Welcome... The temperatures look high, but just about OK, even so I would force the fans to maximum speed to get them down a bit. Also, if possible, make sure your CPU and its associated hardware isn't getting too hot - again try forcing the fans to maximum. These steps have helped on two of my computers that were suffering similar issues. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Hi ! Cpu temp max is 42C. Both cpu and gpu are in stock clocks. I will test that fan max next night. Because my wife complains if she is downstairs and computer is so loud :D |
