Should perhaps tell that I am keeping a watch of what I am doing. In fact I was able to watch the May 8 celebrations taking place on the Red Square of Moscow earlier today. The military men being present, including high ranking generals and possibly admirals as well were of course wearing uniform. But I think that most or all of the people being present at the celebrations knew what is was all about, namely a celebration of victory, in fact a liberation from tyrranny. Today's Russia is a better place to live than before and only that may be an important factor to be aware of. They are however supposed to be meet by a uniform and proper stance should something out of the ordinary happen. This because of unions like EU and Nato. Having a proper stance against attack is the proper tool in order to defend against aggression. The sad thing is that what was once the Tsar being in charge of Russia by means of family were quite peaceful ones. As a leader he may have been in charge of an autocracy, but probably not by means of his own opinion or intentions. I have lost track of this story and am not even able to recall his name. But Wikipedia is telling me that the Russian Revolution took place in 1917 and that there also may have been a smaller revolt already in 1905. He was overthrown because of a political change which was a result of both economic hardships as well as epidemies. His overthrow gave room for political ideologies which was based on Leninism, Marxism and ultimately Stalinism. More or less every country may be exposed to everything from corruption through malpractise and even tyrrany at times, but my best guess by just watching today's events is that Mr. Putin is not willing to step on someones toes, at least not too hard. Therefore, because the Los Angeles Times now is charging money for access to its contents and someone else may tell me that I went too far at times, noone is supposed to go error-free. I also was reminded about the end of another dictatorship being overthrown in Eastern Europe several years ago. This at the cost of thousands of lives. There are times where someone is not willing to go on his or her own. In such instances, it never comes out peaceful and blood unfortunately becomes spilled on the streets. In any case, I am still able to see only the white thing at times and not the yellow one. Possibly blame my poor eyesight when such a thing is happening. |

Today's Russia is a better place to live than before and only that may be an important factor to be aware of. Not true. Today an average Indian has the double wealth of a Russian. And Russians has a 10 years Life expectancy less then the rest of the World. Examples and sources please. Sweden has fought 33 wars against the Russsian Empire. I have lost track of this story and am not even able to recall his name. But Wikipedia is telling me that the Russian Revolution took place in 1917 and that there also may have been a smaller revolt already in 1905. You mean Tsar Nikolaj II |

There are now many wealthy peoples in Russia who like to go abroad and some even are investing and bying proprietes. Especially London. I wrote about non-wealthy people. Millions of ordinary people from Russia (from Murmansk also) sunbathe on foreign beaches. http://www.themoscowtimes.com/business/article/where-russian-tourists-will-and-wont-go-in-2015/517836.html |

I know that lot's of russian goes abroad. Especially to the Balkans, Turkey and Egypt. But from your link. Tourism out of Russia has fallen between 50 and 70 percent this year, said Irina Tyurina, spokeswoman for the Russian Tourism Industry Union. That means more and more non-wealthy cant afford to go abroad. And thats bad for western Europe... Foreign tourism to Sweden has since last summer continued to increase, just over six per cent between June and October compared with last year. But tourism from Russia have the same time, on the contrary decreased by almost twelve percent. https://translate.google.se/translate?sl=sv&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsverigesradio.se%2Fsida%2Fartikel.aspx%3Fprogramid%3D83%26artikel%3D6035791&edit-text= |

This is really to much:) The russians are really paranoid. From Sputnik News to us Swedes: Sweden starting big military exercises, against whom? Last Wednesday began a naval exercise outside Gothenburg. Next month, US bombers of B52 class are to practice bomb dropping along with Swedish airforce and army. Meanwhile, the US Marines, as part of an international exercise BALTOPS 2015, which runs from 5 to 20 June, together with British, American and Polish vessels, will be landing from the sea on a artillary (A3 )firing range on the east coast of Skåne. That's Kristianstad where I was commanded to when I was a conscript:) The Wendish Artillery Regiment (Swedish: Wendes artilleriregemente), designation A 3, was a Swedish Army artillery regiment that traced its origins back to the 17th century. It was disbanded in 2000. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from Skåne, and it was also garrisoned there. https://www.google.se/maps/place/Rinkaby+f%C3%A4ltet/@55.9043043,14.2581425,11z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x46541967139ae859:0xebefb6a3b1a00680 There are 17 nations, nearly 4500 man, 50 ships, 50 combat aircraft and helicopters, a submarine, ten combat ships and a number of vehicles, which will participate. |

Russian word play, "Thank Swede for the Victory", but sounds same as "Thank Grandpa for the Victory". Was used after WWII. https://twitter.com/MikaelSkillt/status/602527421104029697 :):):) Dmitry Rogozin Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Deputy Head of the Military-Industrial Commission and special Envoy of Vova Putin says this... "Russian tanks don't need visas as those are not Russian tanks." "It's not Russia that threatens the West. Its foundations will crash down under the pressure of ISIS and gays." Did he forget the Nordic countries? |

Putin orders Russia’s Air Force to more than triple the number of Tu-160 strategic supersonic bombers. No. Russia has lack of Manpower. Many guest workers are working there from many countries. For instance. Sochi Olympic Arena was mainly built by them. |

Cosmodrome "East" - the future Russian spaceport under construction in the Far East, in the Amur region, near the village of Uglegorsk near the China border east of Mongolia. Today, most Russian launches are from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. But in the future it is "East" that will be the main Cosmo center. The rockets are light, medium and heavy classes, which means the launch of spacecrafts into low and high orbit, manned interplanetary missions and launches. The first launch of the carrier rocket is planned to be in 25 December 2015, the first launch of a manned spacecraft - in 2018, and the full entry into operation of the cosmodrome is scheduled for 2020. https://translate.google.se/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fgelio.livejournal.com%2F207547.html&edit-text= The Constructions workers get less than 600 dollars per month! |

How does, in this modern world of instant communication and access to vast amounts of information, the leader of any country convince the citizens of said country that the world or at least another country is out to destroy or conquer them. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |
