Daily Mail about females in the Kazakhstan Army.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3033505/Kazakhstan-military-unveils-123-prettiest-soldiers-bid-attract-recruits.html
Borat's call of beauty?
Military officials in Kazakhstan have introduced a Miss Army competition in the hope of encouraging more recruits.
The Kazakhstani Ministry of Defence has chosen 123 of its prettiest female soldiers and posted their photos online where viewers can vote for their favourites.
The pictures show the women in three set poses – in military uniform, with weapons and in civilian clothing – and they have already been viewed more than 30,000 times.

Is this supposed to be funny?

A more funny thing:)
NATO spokesman Jay Janzen has mocked Russia on Twitter with a cheeky ‘geography lesson’.
In response to a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman calling the deployment of NATO troops to Romania as 'confrontational' Jay Janzen wrote on his social media platform "Russia says NATO defensive exercises in Romania 'confrontational'.

A recent Russian news broadcast added an entirely fictitious phrase supposedly spoken by Ukraine’s President in the latest of countless attempts to push the Kremlin line about alleged discrimination of Russian-speakers. Fiction is needed since reality is not on Moscow’s side. A survey, for example, has found only 19% support for Russian becoming a Ukrainian State language.

NYTimes: War and Poverty Bring Doubt to Heartland of Ukraine's Pro-Europe Revolt

"The hryvnia national currency has collapsed, dragging down the value of the average monthly salary to just $150 per month".

"Everyone thought Ukraine would suddenly turn into Poland," said mechanic Taras Yakubovsky, sitting by a cast-iron woodburner in his small garage, where work has dried up because customers can no longer afford car repairs. "But we've become more like Europe's Somalia."

Yes, some hotheads in Kiev don't want ceasefire, they only want to destroy "terroristic" civil population of Eastern Ukraine.

Thanks Igor.
There are NO "terroristic" civil population in Donbass or in the rest of Ukraine.
I Think we all now that by now.
Only "terroristic" leaders and militaries of "Novorossia" and Kremlin.
And in Kiev...

This is not exactly news to us who read the news.
Even before the Ukrainian crises started a bit more then a year ago the problem was adressed.
Yes Ukraine is Europe's Somalia.
And Russia is Europe's Iran:)

Mom Luda comes in with la pièce de résistance - Easter cake in the Ukrainian colors.
"I love my Ukraine!" She says with her hand towards the heart. We toast for Easter - Чуть- чуть!, Ukraine, for my job for the organization, for peace and Sweden Carl Bildt. "A true friend of Ukraine, we love him here," said Luda with sparkling eyes:)

About as far away as Brussels, less than two hours flight time from Stockholm, is the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Ukraine, with its nearly 50 million inhabitants, one of Europe's most populous countries in addition to the surface seen the largest.

Ukraine and Sweden have millennial ties with widespread trade areas between already in the 1000's. The year 1019 and including what was then called the Kiev Empire King Yaroslav the Wise was married with the Swedish king Olof Skötkonungs daughter Ingegerd!

After the Berlin Wall and Ukraine's independence in 1991, relations between Sweden and Ukraine once again growing stronger. Ukraine has since independence from and to have been politically turbulent but important steps towards greater democracy and a better functioning market economy has been taken, not least in the context of the so-called Orange Revolution in 2004, and today Ukraine an attractive country for Swedish investments.

In 2006, GDP grew by 7.1 percent and Ukraine is currently one of the fastest growing markets for Swedish export companies with an annual growth rate for Swedish exports of nearly 40 percent during the 2000s. Energy and environmental technology sector is one of the areas where relationships are most developed as waste management, energy consumption and water quality are three areas Ukraine needs to make strong investments.

In addition to energy and environmental technology sector is also the IT and telecommunications, food and wood and metal working industries where the Swedish-Ukrainian economic cooperation has grown strongly. Also public Sweden has highlighted the potential for businesses in Ukraine and the Swedish Trade Council has gathered much of their Central European organization to Kiev.

Today, Sweden is furthermore the EU's biggest contributor to Ukraine with an annual development cooperation at about 200 million by 2013. The focus of Swedish development cooperation is on greater EU integration, democratic governance and respect for human rights and in an environmentally sustainable use of the Natural Resources and Environment.

Somewhere within our borders sits right now (at least) a Russian agent and laughing at us, slurping their vodka and vexatious playing balalaika.

“Has Stalin understood correctly?’ asked Stalin. ‘You were on Franco’s side, you have fought against Comrade Mao, you have… saved the life of the pig in London and you have put the deadliest weapon in the world in the hands of the arch-capitalists in the USA.
‘I might have known,’ Stalin mumbled and in his anger forgot to talk in the third person. ‘And now you are here to sell yourself to Soviet socialism? One hundred thousand dollars, is that the price for your soul? Or has the price gone up during the course of the evening?’
Allan no longer wanted to help. Of course, Yury was still a good man and he was the one who actually needed the help. But you couldn’t get away from the fact that the results of Yury’s work would end up in the hands of Comrade Stalin, and he was not exactly Allan’s idea of a real comrade. On the contrary, he seemed unstable, and it would probably be best for all concerned if he didn’t get the bomb to play with.
‘Not exactly,’ said Allan. ‘This was never about money…’
He didn’t get any further before Stalin exploded again.
‘Who do you think you are, you damned rat? Do you think that you, a representative of fascism, of horrid American capitalism, of everything on this Earth that Stalin despises, that you, you, can come to the Kremlin, to the Kremlin, and bargain with Stalin, and bargain with Stalin?’
Why do you say everything twice?’ Allan wondered, while Stalin went on:
‘The Soviet Union is prepared to go to war again, I’ll tell you that! There will be war, there will inevitably be war until American imperialism is wiped out.’
‘Is that what you think?’ asked Allan.
‘To do battle and to win, we don’t need your damned atom bomb! What we need is socialist souls and hearts! He who knows he can never be defeated, can never be defeated!’
‘Unless of course somebody drops an atom bomb on him,’ said Allan.
‘I shall destroy capitalism! Do you hear! I shall destroy every single capitalist! And I shall start with you, you dog, if you don’t help us with the bomb!’
Allan noted that he had managed to be both a rat and a dog in the course of a minute or so. And that Stalin was being rather inconsistent, because now he wanted to use Allan’s services after all.
But Allan wasn’t going to sit there and listen to this abuse any longer. He had come to Moscow to help them out, not to be shouted at. Stalin would have to manage on his own.
‘I’ve been thinking,’ said Allan.
‘What,’ said Stalin angrily.
‘Why don’t you shave off that moustache?’
With that the dinner was over, because the interpreter fainted”

So?

Ukrainian government can give the second official language for the Eastern Ukraine and some more self-government, it's the usual way in the democratic country, it could and even now it can end war in the Eastern Ukraine but they don't want it and they oppresses those who calls for changes in this policy.
