hi everyone,

Ok, i know s@h servers were down monday for maintenance. but its wed. am here now.
I experience the same problem every week after the maintenance.

ive tried updating more than 10 times in the last 15 minutes,
but all i keep getting is this message...

Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
Requesting new tasks for CPU
Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
Scheduler request failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer
Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

everything was working fine before the maintenance.
i doubt its my internet connection if im posting to the forum..

suggestions?

sorry never think to look in number crunching to see there is "still"
recent server errors. will just have to wait it out i suppose.

ok, still can not get any tasks.
everytime i try to update all i get is deferred for 5:00 and this ..

I have read elsewhere that they are having server issues,
even though some people have said they are getting some tasks.
I just hope to be able to get some before the next outage again.

If you look in the NC "Panic mode" thread you will see you are not alone.

Out of my 4 running machines, one downloaded 84 tasks last night, another machine 20 about an hour later, one filled it's cache overnight and the last one only just got tasks about half an hour ago.

So it is very much "patience is not just a virtue it is a requirement!"

I have been watching the NC post since about tuesday.
i had run out of tasks and couldnt even get 1 since until about 3 hrs ago.
finally seen my machine had 3 tasks to work on.

i also changed my settings so i could get some extra tasks downloaded.
so im good for a while now.

normally id only get like 3 to 5 tasks per day due to completion time for each.
so i never took into consideration days i couldnt get any, until this week.
i upped it to get a few days worth. so i think were good to go for a while.
