Hi is there any reason why my pc with a nvidia gtx280 does not get cuda task. To assis I attach the first lines of my log that show it actually reqest them.

Your GPU is pre-fermi - so read this post, and the following few posts in that thread:

You will have to roll your GPU driver back to something like 322.xx to get work for your gtx280
