I think Carlos is right as well. That sure looks like an
Adz to me, and the other tools could be for fine work.

I see an arrow head the black pointy thinky at the bottom center.
The main tool is an Adzes used for smoothing hides or carving wood.
There is a stone knife, the black pointy thing with the wood handle
Then the others appear to be scraping tools.

Is this a boat building set?

Carlos got it absolutely right it is used for carving wood ... this particular set is used in boat building to carve and smooth the wood ... each apprentice had to make his own tools that's how they began their apprenticeship

Your turn
I came down with a bad case of i don't give a crap

Ok, boat tools. Cool I need to make a canoe again. Last time I used cedar strips and fiber glass. Well here is a tool that is unique to a single profession. I have only used one once. So tell me what is this used for?

It is used to make cuts on the backside of a board to allow it to curve without breaking.

Nice sound. Well not in the tool but it does sound like you're tuning in.

I would of had it fingered down if your comment about boat making hadn't lead me astray.

On the money! The comment about the boat was about the prior photo.

It is interesting all the same. Wonder how long it will take to solve this one.
