An exchange of prisoners of war (POW) took place outside the city of Luhansk: 52 captive militants from the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, the DPR and the LPR respectively, were exchanged for 140 Ukrainian military servicemen. http://www.unian.info/war/1046955-fifty-two-pro-russian-militants-exchanged-for-140-ukrainian-troops-outside-luhansk.html P.S. Once again, no captured Russian soldiers... Are they phantoms? |

The Republic of Abkhazia or Apsny, still part of Georgia Yes! Before 1992! Abkhazian separatists declared 1992 the region's independence from Georgia, which led to war between the parties. Abchazerna succeeded despite its numerical disadvantage subdue Georgian forces, which can be explained by the rebels are believed to have enjoyed Russian support. A truce was signed in December 1993, but the conflict has not yet received any permanent solution. |

Now you are silly again. Russian soldiers are leaving the military ID behind before they go to Ukraine and get there Russian passports back so they become "volunteers". They are not phantoms but LGM "Little Green Men" |

The Republic of Abkhazia or Apsny, still part of Georgia So, now you understand that the Republic of Abkhazia really was part of independent Georgia in the 1918-1921 only? BTW, after the Abkhazian-Georgian war. |

The Republic of Abkhazia or Apsny, still part of Georgia Have you been drinking? In August 2008, war broke out in Georgia with Georgia on one side and with Russia and the breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on the other side. In response to the shelling of Georgian settlements around South Ossetia sent Georgia into its armed forces in the region. Russia supported the South Ossetians military, and the war spread to the two fronts when Georgia's second breakaway republic of Abkhazia also went into the conflict. On 7 August 2008, the Georgian forces a massive artillery attack on South Ossetiens capital of Tskhinvali. The war lasted officially from August 8th to the 16th of August 2008. Sounds very much like what's happening in Ukraine today. |

Have you been drinking? Do you really think that the 7 months (from 26 December 1991 before 23 July 1992) Abkhazia really was under the Georgian rule? It was theoretically only. Later, from 23 July 1992, Abkhazia was de-facto independent. |

Have you been drinking? Please read your history books again. In the controversial presidential elections held in 2004 in the de facto republic Abchazien Sergei Bagapsh won over Raul Khadjimba, supported by the outgoing President Vladislav Ardzinba and Russia. The Supreme Court rejected the election results, but the two parties reached an agreement under which Bagapsj would be president and Chadzjimba vice president. As they stood as a common option in the election which was held January 12, 2005 they received more than 90 percent of the votes and Bagapsj became February 12 the new President with the five-year term. Although this choice was criticized when ethnic Georgians in Gali district are not allowed to vote. Bagapsj appointed February 14, 2005 Alexander Ankvab new Prime Minister .. |
