Assimilation & purging for AP still seems to be down. Maybe it will resume after maintenance tomorrow? SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours ![]() |

Could this also be, why the PM system is behaving strangly? Takes a long time to respond, page is giggling and deleting msgs not intended to be deleted, but deleting others. No a big loss to me, as I capture all mine via e-mail notification. But to others, it could be a problem. just got this on a user update:- 22/10/2014 03:07:49 | SETI@home | update requested by user 22/10/2014 03:08:37 | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: HTTP service unavailable Guess summats up again [edit] 22/10/2014 03:14:55 | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer 22/10/2014 03:15:10 | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 22/10/2014 03:15:12 | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. Guess the status page isn't reflecting actuality:-/ maybe its a comms problem? rather than a server one.. Cliff, Been there, Done that, Still no damm T shirt! ![]() |

My rigs have not been able to report the competed WUs since almost 12 hours now. Not having any issues on this end... well anymore. My internet went from 25Mb/s to about 18Kb/s for around an hour. So there could be some kind of larger internet issues occurring. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours ![]() |

Something is afoot. One of my machines hasn't been able to connect to the server all day. I keep getting "site might be down" I know the internet works because I'm using the computer right now. Wonder if something broke that they couldn't fix so the put the system back up until they would get whatever it is they need or the appropriate personnel to look at it. It's also super slow and certain sections take several minutes to load |

This reminds me of the good old days. Back before the COLO. Remember back then, about how We found that Linux Machines contacted the Server when other machines couldn't...and all those Proxies... Well, my Windows and Mac machines can't contact....but Ubuntu can; Tue 21 Oct 2014 07:56:30 PM EDT | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks Tue 21 Oct 2014 09:40:41 PM EDT | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks Tue 21 Oct 2014 09:40:41 PM EDT | SETI@home | Project has no tasks available Tue 21 Oct 2014 09:47:07 PM EDT | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks Tue 21 Oct 2014 09:47:07 PM EDT | SETI@home | Project has no tasks available Tue 21 Oct 2014 09:59:19 PM EDT | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks Tue 21 Oct 2014 09:59:19 PM EDT | SETI@home | Project has no tasks available Tue 21 Oct 2014 10:30:29 PM EDT | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks Tue 21 Oct 2014 10:30:29 PM EDT | SETI@home | Project has no tasks available Tue 21 Oct 2014 10:41:07 PM EDT | SETI@home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Well, something is going on, but maybe if they stopped whatever that other transfer is that's causing the blue line to spike my other machines might be able to connect. It might help until whatever is causing this is fixed anyway. You Know there is something wrong when the SSP is running Hours behind, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html |

I can report completed tasks, though sometimes it takes several tries, but I haven't been able to D/L any new ones. One of my machines is out of GPU work. If it doesn't get any before I go to bed, I'll probably shut it down. |

Wonder if something broke that they couldn't fix so the put the system back up until they would get whatever it is they need or the appropriate personnel to look at it. It's also super slow and certain sections take several minutes to load The connection connection graph also shows that is normally the outbound data, labeled as in, running around 25-30MB/s. With the outbound, labeled as out, running around 240MB/s. For a moment I thought they reversed the display, but I'm thinking not. As the "Results ready to send" has also stayed extremely flat. Looking at my clients I just have the standard messages that would be expected after an outage. 10/21/2014 11:27:30 PM SETI@home Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server I am upload and report with any issues. Well the GPU's on my main rig have dipped into their backup project again for the 2nd time in a week after a long absence from having to rely on it. My other rig will be doing the same in another couple of hours. Cheers. |

Scheduler appears to have crapped out. "Couldn't connect to server" or "HTTP Internal server error" are the only responses I'm getting. Should be out of GPU work in the next hour or 2. EDIT- and the forums are somewhat sluggish. EDIT- since then one system has been able to report work, twice, but "Project has no tasks available" is the response to work requests. Grant Darwin NT |

After lots of retries, the rigs have not reported the work, however, as others are experiencing, there are no tasks available. Restarted my backup project for now. |

Set the Boinc Manager to NNT and report manually. It worked for me 10 minutes ago. Tim |
