They will have to be plugged in, or at least charged very regularly while crunching. They will get hot - despite the much lower power consumption they don't have the clever cooling of even a laptop. It might be worth considering some form of cooling base, but certainly not resting on the carpet. I can't answer the credits per day (not points per day). But you will get the same per task as anyone else. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

You may find this thread of use in working out how long a task is going to take: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=75346 Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Starting to get back into SETI after a super long absence. I'm using my Galaxy Centura cell phone to run SETI while at work in airplane mode. It does pretty close to 1% per hour. So 100 hours for 1 unit. I may just give it up and uninstall. |
