No. Only if each side wishes an end will there be a solution. Don't presuppose both sides wish an end, when that is not a fact in evidence.

Unfortunately if there was peace there would be an incredible power vacuum in Gaza and Hamas would be out of a job. Hamas is very unlikely to allow that to happen. They (the persons making up the bureaucracy) have far too much personally at stake to wish an end to the conflict.

You do know that your linked website is a Vital Component in the U.S. War on Terror don't you? I wouldn't expect much non bias there especially given the familiar names on the board of advisors, Donald Rumsfeld being one of them.

Be realistic, if the IDF did nothing, what would be the response within Israel?

I agree the only way is by peaceful means, but the first people who MUST put down their arms are the Palestinians. And the last cease fire showed they are incapable of doing that.

Get realistic, at the moment your way is only going to increase the bloodshed on the Israeli side.

Whether something is legal does not mean its smart or the right thing to do. For one, this strategy is utterly pointless. You don't hit your target, and unlike the rockets they fire and that are likely to end up in a field, you are likely to hit someones home and kill a bunch of civilians. All you do is make them hate you. And when they hate you, they want to shoot rockets at you. This strategy ensures that there is a group of Palestinians that will continue firing missiles at you.

And why not let them shoot missiles at you? Most of them get shot down by Israels rocket shield, and the ones that get through are most likely to hit nothing. So far, they only killed 2 people. Israel lost more people by sending in troops INTO the Gaza strip to destroy these rockets and the people that fire them than the rockets actually did themselves. Israels 'cure' is worse than the disease.

And sorry, but again, the Palestinians are not the only ones that break cease fires. This time it was them, other times it was Israel.

Lets get realistic. Lets look at the facts. The facts are that those Palestinian rockets are relatively 'safe'. The fact is that Israel has been trying to 'solve' this conflict with the Palestinians through excessive force for decades now and they are nowhere closer to a solution than they were decades ago. The fact is that Israels strategy will not result in peace any time soon. These facts lead to one very obvious conclusion, namely a new strategy MUST be adopted. You are right, we cannot expect from Hamas to initiate this strategy. So Israel will have to be the more mature one and initiate it, and then perhaps Hamas and the rest of the Palestinians will follow.

This shows you don't do much research, the Israeli dome system cannot hope to shot down all the rockets fired from the Gaza strip. It identifies those rockets that are not going to hit urban area's and ignores them, and concentrates on those liable to kill their citizens and cause significant damage. Even then they have stated they cannot hope to stop all of those.

Before you start commenting on military matters, go and get some service in.

I actually don't know if all the employees are Jewish, why should they be?
