Rules are as follows.

Winner posts a new picture, waits 24 hours...

After the 24 hours, he/she counts the number of captions, if the sum is less than ten, he/she waits another 24...

After ten captions or NO LATER THAN 48 hours, the winner of the last round declares the winner of the current round - whatever caption strikes him/her as funniest: he/she also picks a second and third place (more on that below)

The winner of the round has 24 hours to post another picture to be captioned; if no picture within the 24 hours, (or notice posted by the winner that he/she is looking...) then second place is up, who also has 24 hours...

During breaks in the action, (between a winner being declared and the next picture posted) general discussion may take place... Moderators should be aware that a picture posting may cross with a "general discussion" type posting.
