The only secure computer is one that's unplugged, locked in a safe, and buried 20 feet under the ground in a secret location... and I'm not even too sure about that one. -- attributed to Dennis Huges, FBI |

Terrorhertz, You have that one right! When I worked on one classified project you had to shut down your computer and lock up the disk drive if you left the room. More fun were the pressurized pipes used to connect the computers to the servers. |

Would those pipes have been the Nitrogen filled ones that when placeing a tap on would be punctured and loose pressure thus setting of Alarms, Sirens and the MPs with machine guns come to get you? If so then that is cool!...I've read of them in "The Ultimate Spy Book" by H. Keith Melton IBSN 0-7894-0443-5 The CIA and MI6 used then in the cold war spying on the Russians. I'm sure they have found other uses for them as well. He is something I found on ventilation duct micro-robots that I found interesting if everyone isn't paranoid enough: portland imc - 2004.08.10 - Consumer Spookware vs. Your Castle Rachel, You may want to disconect your dryer and board up all vents in the house to!!:-) |

Has anyone used or had experience with thumb printing for PC security? For 60 - 100 Can $ seems like a good deal if it works. I Refuse to hold myself responsible for any of my actions. si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes |
