Thank Marbooka the heat wave is over. 4 days of over 40C was getting too much to bear. Thursday hit 45C, thats the hottest ever temperature I can remember. Sounds awful. It's never been that warm here in the UK. I think from memory 37.5C is the highest recorded. I once went for a walk in a Canyon in Death Valley on a day where it was 52C. They tell us that when it gets that hot, a fan doesn't help. It still just blows hot air over you. They're still saying it will drop to 0F or below tonight, colder out here where there will be less snow. The city will have a big dump of lake effect snow. Highs around 10 for the rest of the week.
