I set up an account and started processing with no problems. I just followed the instructions (something I don't always do!).

I installed on EVO 3d. When starting I get message "Starting..." then a flicker about every 5 seconds saying "Whoops" / "...this should not be happening" / "Click on the icon to try again" but it only lasts for a split second and goes back to "Starting..."

A stellar idea ! (Pardon the pun) Seriously though, this idea is brilliant and I am in the process of getting it set up on my android product. Can't wait to get started.

I just broke through the 2 million mark and want to get another 2 million quicker than it took me this last time. Separate account or not.

What are my credits for? Can I trade them in for a cool t-shirt? What does it mean "suspending processor too hot?"

Credits are like points in a video game; they only hold meaning and value to people who care about the game. (No, you can't buy T-shirts, but for a bit of humor regarding their value, it is often joked that you can buy a toaster!)

Suspending processor too hot means exactly what it says. Your processor is too hot so BOINC is suspending computations so as to not kill your chip.

The HTC ONE has returned 10 tasks in a few minutes, all with "Computation error" :-(

A HTC HD2 and a POV ProTAb XXL will change to SETI as soon as the remaining tasks from Asteroids are finished. We will see, how they perform.

Manuel - Es que BOINC esta probando un systema que funciona en telefonos (y tablets?) android y se buscan personas que quieren probarlo. BETA significa que is nuevo y por lo tanto no necesariamente foncona perfectamente. Si tiene problemas debe decirlos aqui en el Message Board asique pueden investigar el problema. Ademas, necesita inscribir con una cuenta nueva porque BOINC Android no esta conectado con cuentas existentes. El app esta disponible en Google Play o Amazon.

Por favor, no aqui. Si estais probando el android beta, debeis escribir aqui con cualquier problema o pregunta. Preferiblemente en ingles para que todos entiendan y no nececiten systema de traduccion, pero si prefiere, castellano no deberia ser demasiado problema.
No necesita credito para escribir en beta - eso es en caso que nada resulte y necesite ayuda para empezar.

just installed boinc on my xperia neoV, added beta project, registered account...

and nothing.

just saying:

NOTHING TO DO
Waiting for tasks..

network connection OK

so I checked log and ... WTF?

by default there were 0MB of storage space available for boinc

after correction : everythings seems OK
