When I set "Use GPU while computer in use", the GPU runs an Astropulse, but if I unclick this, with "Only after computer has been idle for 3 minutes", they never run while I am away with the screen locked and dark. I am set to use the CPU while the computer is in less that 25% CPU use, but only 50% of CPUs 55% of the CPU time. Perhaps this is a known issue, as GPU use is relatively new on Linux, but I just thought I'd report it. Linux bike 3.2.0-52-generic #78-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 26 16:21:44 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Boinc 7.2.11 (x64) NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 610 FYI: the Intel CPU and board also have built in HD graphics 2000 which I believe is not supported by boinc/seti. |
