There's a stock GPU Linux App? Hmmm, I missed that. Now if you could just run 2 Different Platforms in Ubuntu, I could ditch XP. Any idea on when there will be a Stock Mac AMD AP App? Version ap_6.07r1874_sse3_clATI_OSX64 seems to work fine for me in Mountain Lion & Mavericks running AMD 7750, 6850, & 6870. Others have 5770s working. Hmmm, OSX 10.9.1 just came out. I'll have to see if there's a driver update in there... |

It has been on Seti Beta since 25 Jun 2013, 20:42:09 UTC, But there are only four hosts in the top 100 that have done AMD AP tasks, and only two more in the top 300, and none have posted their experience that I know. Perhaps if you attach to Seti Beta, things will go faster. (Subject to Eric being happy with the app, and having time to deploy it here) Claggy |

Nothing has changed since then, it works flawlessly in my early 2008 MacPro. AstroPulse v6 (anonymous platform, ATI GPU) Number of tasks completed 6549 |

At first look, you're only attached to Seti: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=9788093 and the TBar at Seti Beta is only attached to that project: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/show_user.php?userid=19465 Do you use the same email address at both projects, and have at least one host attached to both projects? That one host seems also to have never completed any Astropulse tasks, NV, ATI or CPU. Claggy |

I use the same e-Mail; I think the reason is you never validated any tasks, you either aborted them, or they timed out. (People running new Android hosts that couldn't complete work were reporting it the Seti News thread here, but since they hadn't validated any work they didn't show as being attached to Seti Beta eithier) Anyway enough of polluting the Panic Mode thread. In before the lock.... Astropulse 6.07 for MacOS/X64 with NVIDIA and ATI/AMD GPUs released As you can see from the posts, my contributions were finding the Firmware conflict in my particular PC 6850, and isolating the problem that was preventing the nVidia Mac AP App from starting. I have no idea what happened to the AP tasks that were obviously validated at Beta. The only couple of tasks I aborted there were CPU vlars which obviously don't need Beta testing on a machine involved with trying to solve new Mac AP GPU App problems. When I left there, the AMD Mac AP App was working flawlessly with my PC 7750 & PC 6850... ;-) |
