Exactly. Welcome to the real world of trying to manage a Local Council, with falling Government funding, and residents still complaining about lack of services ......

But have they managed?...evidence then that councils have been offering services
that they really could not afford without adopting creative income policies.
I'd suggest that during these austere times our government suspends all green
policies that have been forced upon all councils. The resultant financial
savings to local councils may go some way to bridging their budget shortfalls.

Reminds me of the (possibly apocryphal) policy deployed by one large multi-national a good few years ago which forbade men to have "facial hair" and women from wearing short dresses/skirts. A few days notice as given of this new "dress code", which gave staff what might be termed an "unfair advantage" as on the day the code was to commence no women were to be seen wearing short skirts/dresses, and no men facial hair. However there were any number of service engineers roaming around in very short dresses and any number of typists who had "sprouted" facial hair. Needles to say the code was reviewed rather rapidly, much to the chagrin of clothing shops and theatrical supplies shops....

A very young underage girl has been violated in the most terrible way, how about thinking about her future welfare. I am disappointed in both of you.

If you hadn't bought into the blame the victim crowd, you might be asking why were the criminals out after midnight, where where their parents, who taught them rape is acceptable?

Every time someone asks a question about the victim, or their family they are teaching that doing the crime is acceptable, er explainable, in some circumstance.

I don't care if she is buck naked and soused at 3 in the morning in the red light district, it still isn't acceptable! Essentially you are saying it is okay to steal from a house, car, business if they forgot to lock it.

I just can't go along with this thought process and feel I must point out how wrong it is.
