I have to tell you this from time to time to time again.

And I know.......some here in the search do not always take me at my word.
For good reason. I do tend to fantasize in the depths of my journeys through my mind.

What I wish some would understand is that....

My mind travels long distances between the moments that I may share with you here.
They are not always pleasant journeys. I know things that some wish, but really do not wish to know.

I use this as my homing grounds, because I can pull up my stats and prove to myself and all others that my computers, at least, have stayed here right at home doing what they do.

That is not to say that my mind has not stayed with them.


So, to quote the movie, would it be OK if I said the answer was NO?

I work my bones building fire trucks from time to time.

When and where I do this is in between certain lapses in the time warp that allows me to exist in this plane.

It lapses, and then I have to go for a while.

My curiosity of your life causes me to linger and try to poke back in.
I almost always can.

It's a paid holiday in my contract, but I have to work anyway. We will, on paper, get paid for a day that would otherwise be an unpaid day off, like maybe Christmas Eve. Then we'll get paid for New Year's Eve in lieu of getting Pulaski Day off in March. Veteran's Day will have to get thrown in there too.
