I'll self report but with a twist. This computer of mine has over 25% invalid tasks but when I look at the work units they are invalid for all the hosts trying to crunch them whether on a gpu or cpu. Some of them have 10 or so invalid results. What is up with that? All of my computers have high invalids lately and all fit in to this category with multiple other hosts having an invalid result also.

I would say that it is not the hosts but rather something is very wrong with the work units being put out.

There was a problem with most files originally split on Nov 4. All these are Invalids.

They have corrected the problem but the rend files still continue.

I wish to nominate "Woodgie" (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=174260) as the champion task hoarder
Two PCs with a grand total of over 3000 tasks "in progress", the majority of which are going to time out due to total inactivity.

Plus:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7396454
CPU only
In progress (332)
Validation pending (22)
Validation inconclusive (1)
Valid (26)
Invalid (0)
Error (8)

Plus:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7509270
CPU plus iGPU
In progress (474)
Validation pending (26)
Validation inconclusive (15)
Valid (48)
Invalid (0)
Error (3)

Plus:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6376517
CPU only
In progress (110)
Validation pending (4)
Validation inconclusive (1)
Valid (7)
Invalid (0)
Error (0)

Plus another couple which have nothing in progress, but have loads of errors (mostly "aborted by user", and all in one session).

Message 1768653 - Posted: 29 Feb 2016, 19:43:28 UTC - in response to Message 1768329.

I might as well "report myself" as my computer ID: 7819651 will make a lot of errors the next couple of months as a couple of hundred jobs will time out.

The reason for this is the installation of Lunatics applications on the computer february 7th 2016. I never would have thought that installing applications would mean that the jobs in queue was just deleted - my bad, I'm sorry for not reading everything thorough.

Anyway - I've looked for a way to abandon the tasks, so my Wingmen wouldn't have to wait for the time-out, but in vain. If someone could make a button on the "All tasks for computer xxxxxxxx" making it possible to abort tasks no longer in Boinc-manager it would be apreciated.

So now you all know what happens when a blonde girl begin to experiment with getting a better throughput. ;o)

Hello.
I made a mistake and downloaded too many SETI tasks (60 of them).
Is there a way to upload them again in Seti's data base without using the "Abort" button ? Or at least, if I do so, will thoses tasks become available to other crunchers ?
(I do not want to spoil those who wait for my results to see their work being validated). While waiting for an answer I will let my computer running days and nights, except tomorrow for personal reasons (travel).
Sorry for th inconvenience if there is one.
