As you can see it isn't hitting every WU I try to do, as has only been since I upgraded my processor. Now the processor IS overclocked, but by default by the motherboard, sandybridge processor using some funky TCU thing on the Asus motherboard. Do I need to turn the overclocking off to make this go away?

Try non OCed first to make sure.
Only overclock if you produce valid results.

Your 'Error while computing' tasks are for 'SETI@home Enhanced v6.10 (cuda_fermi)'

Stderr output

SETI@home NOT using CUDA, falling back on host CPU processing

Most probably because of the driver version:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 (1280MB) driver: 295.73

I let others to suggest which (older) driver version is the best for your GPU

Problem with nVidia driver v295.73?:

285.62 is the WHQL before that, the Beta most of us Lunatics are using is 290.53

As BilBg has pointed out from the error message the GPU disappears on you, which is a known (and reported) bug of the 295 driver.

Thanks guys, I normally physically power off my monitors anyway so I'm going to try setting the Display to never switch off in Windows and see if that does anything for the stability. I'm a gamer and the improvements to Skyrim on these updated drivers is quite significant so I would prefer to not downgrade, if possible :)

Hello Setis,
since a few days I have the same problem. Some "6.10 .. (cuda_fermi) WU's end's with

6.10 setiathome_enhanced (cuda_fermi) Computation error (-177,Maximum time exceeded)

Now i try the "not switch off" in windows. Let's try.

My system:

i7-2600k
GTX590 (Multi-GPU disabled)
Win7 64bit
Nvidia 285.62
Running lunatics 0.39 64bit

See you.

I only see one -177 in your error list?

However you are not running Lunatics v0.39 with x41g but the previous x38g and some of the errors on your list look like they are probably fixed in x41g.

Please update via v0.39 installer. This is also necessary to update the CPU app.

-177 can have a number of causes. I suggest running the portion of Fred's rescheduler, that extends the time allocated to the task for completion.
