I haven't been anywhere, but been busy with my son, he's just started back. I think we both have very tired brain's trying to sort out several interlinked problems. But I think we now have plan of action with a few plan B's sorted out. Seem's like I didn't miss much, here. I'll sum up. 1, In north of England. 2, Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York 3, In Florida. Probably more (in)famous for theme parks. Common link, (clue) transparent, some pictures plus other objects. (The person who created these items was in his early life a painter but these are not part of the connection) |

Ripley's No, the connection items, were produced from the late 1870's and the gentleman responsible died in 1933. They would be described as belonging to the Art Nouveau (or the Aesthetic Movement) period. |

Tiffany? What? Sorry, lack of precision :) - Louis Comfort Tiffany Which would make it the Haworth Art Gallery in Accrington, and the Morse Musuem in Winter Park, Florida? And the Metropolitan of course. |

Tiffany? What? Thats it, The three galleries are the largest collections of Tiffany Glass. And if you wonder why a small Lancashire town houses the largest collection outside the US. It is because his senior assistant and co-designer Joseph Briggs was born in Accrington and when the company folded during the recession he sent two consignments back to Accrington. Most of these are housed in the Haworth Art Gallery. |

No takers? I've received two correct entries by PM, suggesting it's not that difficult. However, time for a hint. In it's present form the building dates from 1837. |

Yes, Hohenschwangau - it's next to Neuschwanstein and Ludwig II grew up there. Over to you, Chris. |
