What is known about Enigma@Home does it use gpus. No, it's a CPU-only project. You can always look up that sort of thing by checking the project's Applications page. The message boards suggest they've tried playing with a CUDA app, but haven't got it working yet. |

I was looking for a project to run when seti runs out of work I noticed cuda threads and something about a cuda app. I have only 142 seti mb task left and it is draining fast. When it has drained I might switch offer until seti fills up. ![]() |

projects are a matter of personal preference. Currently, I run Seti, Enigma, Milkyway, Poem(on my ATI card only), and LHC when it has work. Like a few members of my team I decided on a specific goal for a project. Some chose 10k some 1 million credits. I decided on 1 Million for GPU projects and 100K on all others. All the while still running Seti If you are looking to run a GPU app See here for at least a partial listing of projects. Poem@home does support GPU crunching now. you'd need to adjust your CPU crunching to allow 1 core to be used by the GPU to load. WU's that don't have a free core can take 20+ hours. With a free core can finish in 45-80 minutes on a fast GPU. IF you choose Poem I'd recommend using the app_info that can be found on their forums. It allows you to run up to 5 WU's at once. Unfortunately, the Project has a load of users and typically I can't get more than 3 to run at a time. ![]() In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

I have decided to join Enigma@Home and I noticed a 50% share and I suspend Enigma@Home so I can run seti and not run Enigma only when seti is out of work. Will this setting affect seti. I Have 137 wu left in seti and then switch over to Enigma when seti is dry. Is that configured right? ![]() |

If you leave Enigma at No new tasks you are fine. Then if seti runs out you just allow new tasks and you are in business. ![]() In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Set Enigma@home to 0% resource share and BOINC will only get work from it when Seti runs dry. ![]() |
