I see that my full task list is now visible again.
Either re-enabled, or the purging of the DB is having it's desired effect.

Not having mentioned it, I'd assume the latter, but who knows...

AP not validating slipped through the net, sorry. Either staff notices or it goes on the next installment of problem reporting.

Any bets on when staff is going to go 'Oh no, not again' when email from me turns up in their inboxes?

Lesson to be learned: Once you start doing a job (because it's neccessary and nobody else is doing it) everyone else will gratefully think it's your job to do...

/me not modest? whatever gave you that impression?

And no AP work going out for about a week either.

Looks like the Stock Cuda scheduler fix might have been implemented, Cricket downloads have spiked, and downloads are slow again ;-)

Just noticed that myself.
Has the patch been applied, or the limits raised, or AP WUs finally being released again?

I just looked at the tasks on one of my CPU only machines "In progress (178)"

Good question, I'll walk my 3G dongle over to the XP3200+/HD4650/8400 GS and see if it'll get Stock Cuda23 6.09 work,

There's definitely been a quota change of some sort. My CPU+GPU tester jumped from the steady 450 it's been holding all day to 500 with a work fetch timed at 18:39:07 UTC

That matches the cricket spike: so, of course, those 50 tasks are still trying to download.....

I got 20 tasks at home at 1945, but "no tasks available" since. Status page's
ready tasks dropped from 199K to 161 K between 1950 and 2010 (all BST, GMT+1).

It looks like they have possibly switched from Per Host limits to Per Core. My triple 460 machine is above 400 GPU tasks (about 530 currently), but the single machines are still maxing out at 400. Whatever they changed is good for me, as 400 tasks on the triple is only good for about 12-18 hours of work depending on the mix.

I can't comment on CPU work, as I'm still churning through some Einstein.

EDIT: First quad core machine is above 50 tasks. 52 to be exact. Looks like we are definitely on a per-core basis now :D

Is it just me, or are we having problems uploading again?

My "work" PC managed to upload all completed work on Tuesday (after trying for a week), and managed to get some new tasks, even GPU tasks which it hadn't before. However, as of yesterday morning it has completed all and is again unable to upload, even when trying proxy 72.52.96.30, which did work a couple of weeks ago.

Man, db_purge is not wasting any time at all. Dropped 5M since about 14 hours ago. Tasks page is very responsive. This is great. All that's missing is for APs to be sent out.

[panic] In progress (2) !! [/panic] Two idle cores, will be all four in about 8 hours. On the bright side, the air conditioning is running less now.

I want to know if anyone manages to get a Nvidia/ATI GPU AP task, or doesn't get one.
