Looking at my profile to check results, I was surprised to find that only two work units are visible now, both ones that have been downloaded to my Mac and are being worked on currently (one is just about ready to be sent back, actually*). And in my computer profile it just says I've had two results, when it should be, and was last time I looked, many times that amount. All record of the other work units my Mac has processed seem to have disappeared into thin air. The amount of work credited appears to be correct and more or less ties in with what SETI Control tells me I should have, taking into consideration that I started using SETI Control a short while after I joined SETI BOINC. Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, is there any way I can get them back? * That one has just gone back and has now disappeared too, to be replaced by a new one that's just been downloaded. So, basically, it's all the ones that have been validated that are missing; ie I cannot see ANY of my actual results only details of the work units that are currently on my Mac. ![]() ![]() |

It's happened to me also. Apparently, SETI folks are now deleting results as soon as they have valid enough results to award credits. You should notice that even though the individual results for each work unit have been deleted, your credit is still there. C Join Team MacNN |

That's it exactly; the credit is fine. It's just the number of results shown that's wrong. It seems a bit daft though, as my computer profile now says I've only got two results and presumably others only show 'results' as the number of work units they currently have on their computer too. The wording needs changing for it to make any sense now. Has there been anything official said about this? I've not seen anything about it anywhere, which was why I was asking. ![]() ![]() |

I was only looking in these 'Questions and Problems' boards and not the general ones but did find a similar thread to mine in the Windows board after I started it here. Seems silly removing the results as soon as they're uploaded as you can't see how much credit you've got for them any more, unless you keep a note of the change each time it uploads, which is a bit inconvenient to have to do. ![]() ![]() |
