I routinely reformat my C drive all the time to get rid of all the clutter and other unforeseen things.

I never ever needed to reformat any hard disk or reinstall Windows,
- till now I was always lucky to find a way to fix any trouble (e.g. broken boot/registry files) "by hand" :)
without loosing all the data and settings/tweaks to many installed programs.

But who knows - today is Friday 13 ;)

Wow I just noticed today is Friday the 13th. Hummm, this calls for taking the afternoon off! As far as catching stuff etc I've never gotten any of that stuff. I always run a hardware firewall along with good anti-virus(Nod32). If I'm on the road I just use common sense mostly.

Something interesting about the "Islamic Ghosts Team":

According to Zone-H, the Islamic Ghosts Team has hacked more than 6800 websites, with many dozens in the past few days being this attack against Israeli sites. Of course they are also still attacking the government of Mexico.

Here is a site describing all the 'pro-gaza' hacking groups. So was the computer infected or just the site she went to??

She had it as one of her Trusted Sites, She got a Key logger on arrival and attempted entry to the address book.
She got a Warning and...Assumed it was a Mistake ignored it as she has been there many times over Years.

This is why my wife is not an administrator on her own machine. To get something installed she has to call me, and that means a slow down to think.
