This was an announcement aimed only at Beta testers. Until testing is complete, the application is only accessible by pre-registered members of the Beta testing group.

Not in near future probably cause there is much more work with OpenCL builds still, both AP and MB. For now you can use HD3xxx for SETI with "Hybrid" AstroPulse build I provided earlier.

the AP could be made for public use right now. the AP app takes 2 hours on an unblanked WU with a HD 5850.

The Mutlibeam speed is improving. ~28 minutes on a 0.42 AR WU. This is a major improvement. thats about 60% faster than the pre outage version. Of course this is still slow compared to the CUDA.

I'm betting on Raistmer to get the app lean and mean.

Do you know if ATi SDK 2.3 is going to break something?
Let's hope that the Catalyst APP edition is going to be the only version, or confusion will reign when people will have applications not working even after updating drivers...

I noticed most of the low/mid ati cards only support single and I'm wondering if that is an issue with crunching MB/Astro WUs.

SETI uses single precision mostly so it's not an issue.

Any news from this app ?
