Informix is running on oscar and is now initializing all of its dbspaces. We hope to start moving the science data over in the first part of next week.

Just got a WU or what seemed to be one.. it ran for like 2 mins and then ended and uploaded and cleared out of the list. so this is a good sign?? but it was really a wu i think..:) yeah life is found on the net at seti!! Thanks for the update and i hope it goes well for you all after you get back from all that good food..

The workunits people are receiving are re-sends of timed out workunits from other user's accounts. They are not fresh workunits.

That's all right. I don't need fresh workunits. In today's economy, I know there are people who aren't as well off as I am. Indeed, somehow I've picked up 34 workunits over the last couple of days, including five or so since I checked it a couple hours ago. This doesn't even include the ones I've finished over that time.

I've only got one video card. That's enough work for a week, at least!

how big is the database now? and how fast will the transfer link be?

just trying to get an idea when the transfer might be done, if all goes well.
