After using GPU-Z, below is the value i get:-

temp: 85C
mem: 178MB

is it crunching error caused by high temp?

That is warm though not overly so if that reading is while it's under load but if that is its idle temp then it is overheating.
Also that video card is a 256MB and you are only showing 178MB I'd say that there is your problem.
