Reality got a little ahead of us on this one. We were days, a week tops, away from migrating upload service from bruno to bambi. This will double our upload space and allow us to turn off bruno. We will now move this up and make it top priority come Monday. We need to reconfigure the raid on bambi and then let the raid sync. At that point we can both turn the projects on and start migrating the results from bruno to bambi. We hope that this will be early in the week. We'll then leave the projects on through next weekend, ie no normal 3 day outage. |

So, Bruno was the culprit? What are we looking at here? Tuesday morning..evening...Wednesday? I know, whatever it takes. :-) Gonna be a lot of grumbling on NC but we'll get over it. Bye bye Bruno it's been nice knowing you. Thank you for coming in on a Saturday and doing all you have for us. See you on the flip side. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

Upload service is succesfully migrated. We now have over 4TB of space for uploads! Not that we'd ever use that much. There are still a couple of kinks to work out with other minor server migrations. Thus, we will leave the back end (validation, etc) down tonight. The splitters and data service are up. |
