If you're not having the usual 3 day downtime, why is the 3-day downtime announcement on the front page??? - just curious... Because it is an autonmatic message & they are too busy working on the disk space issue to bother with such a trivial matter only to have to reinstate it for next week. |

I they took a moment to update the front page (the column IS called news after all, not old outdated news), maybe the much hated (for some in here anyway) users would maybe get the picture and would stop complaining. |

Matt: The "Master file" is actually the web page "http://setiathome.berkeley.edu". There are some tags buried in the XML that the client knows how to read that direct the client to where the update servers are. BOINC WIKI |

I'm just curious too. Anyone know why the Boinc Stats have not been updated for the last 8 or 9 days? Thanks in advance for the info. Chuck |

I'm just curious too. Because the replica database, from which those stats are exported, has been offline since then. Until it is back online, no stats. As to why it is offline, that I cannot answer. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |
