I don't know if many of you have read about Bernice.

A kitty that was found with burns on much of her body.
Nothing has been proven about her happenstance, but the assumption is that some cruel bastard set her on fire.

Here is her story...
Warning.............it is rather graphic.

But, she is getting better day by day so far.

Another warning......this makes me sob every time I view it.
The only saving grace is the stories about her healing at the Facebook pages about her successes...........

Bernice's story....

I really don't understand how people can be so inhuman. Bernice's story is quite upsetting, but thank you for sharing it. She's a fighter and the staff of Oshkosh are obviously just super. (Can't think of a proper term at the moment. Super, lovely, hero's? All three and so much more I think).

She is doing very well, considering. And her story has touched kitty lovers around the globe.

God loves Bernice.

There is a special place in Hell for people who inflict such pain on defenseless creatures. But until they get there, those folks, once identified, should be locked away where they can do no more harm. They are sick, possibly warped beyond repair.

Triple Amen here....

You all know the large place in my heart and soul for kitties.....and all little creatures.

I damned near wrecked my car coming home from work a few nights ago at 1AM to avoid hitting a little skunk.

I think the term "God's creatures" applies more to them then to most of us sometimes.

We are ALL God's creatures, I believe.
But with our more complex brains, there are more things that can go wrong.
And more need for us to look after each other.

Am I my brother's keeper? NO.
But I am his brother. If I see he needs help, I will offer it.
If he asks for it, I will give it, unless doing so will harm either one of us.
And if he offers harm to me or another, I will do what I can to prevent it.

Well now, it looks like the little Fryja cat has found the Tupperware, a goodly stack of the stuff is now on the floor behind the microwave stand. After the loud clunk she comes running in to the front room like a small child with that “I didn’t do anything look on her face.” She has found out that any loud noise that she makes means extra treats for her. I am afraid we pamper her far too much.

I'm not really a kitty person but . . . :)

I don't agree with you there. All seven of them think, they are ENTITLED to a snack at night.

Wrong thread? No that was about people, not my furry Family.

I agree, most cats can soak up as much pampering, spoiling, and attention as you can send their way....LOL.

And +1 to KB.

Didn't know where specifically to put this so I'll leave it here. The only description I can think of is the title of video itself Spider cat!
