there ist a Problem i got after i set my Settings in boinc General, my Connektion got Disrupted, and i was a vew days not be able to log in.... but i did a mistake into the Settings, and wasnt be able to fix them without logging into the Net, i think Settings for my PC should be availible in Boinc Soft even when a user goes offline, and plz fix the General Settings, i dont think many people share Gigabytes Diskspace for Boinc, MB would be ok but GB ??? |

The minimum for BOINC with S@H only is about 0.1 GB (100MB) The minimum for the BOINC with the entire set of available projects is around 0.9 GB (900 MB). This setting is used to allow BOINC programs to store data on your HD as well as doing crunching. CPDN does this with the results that you have crunched. CPDN returns a small set of the data that you have created, and stores everything on your HD. It is possible (it has happened to a few people) that sometime later, you will be asked to either re-crunch the data with new code, or send the entire result set back for further analysis. So far, the other projects only use a few tens of MB for the work that is currently on your computer. BOINC WIKI |
