Yeah, sorry about that. I must have got those in just before it got too bad. I'm getting the same message now and nothing is moving either direction. I think they are talking about it in the panic thread over on NC. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

Hey, Just tried (2 minutes ago) to "upload." No success. My last task has been "uploading" for the past 1 hour. Tried rebooting - same results. Any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated. ront |

They are saying the problem is outside Berkeley, on the web itself. Guess we just have to wait it out. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

is this, unable to upload, a domain name resolution problem again, or a real seti problem? |

yes to your going to send me a billion usd! if it is a name resolution problem, why can't we edit our hosts file like we have done before for the d/l problem. for example: hosts: # Bonic servers: 208.68.240.18 boinc2.ssl.berkeley.edu 208.68.240.13 boinc2.ssl.berkeley.edu |

Please note that this was a work-around for a libCURL bug. It had a tendency to grab ahold of a result and not release it, meaning a "multihomed" host (like the two above) would never clear. Shut down BOINC and fiddle with the hosts file and you could "trick" it into working. A newer libCURL is on the BOINC download page, along with all the intermediate versions. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/?C=M;O=D If you decide to replace libCURL (and not try one of the development versions) please make sure you replace the right one. |

the upload server "bruno" says it is running... There are two download servers. If the upload server is a different server (and I believe it is) then it MUST have a different name. |
