Hello,
On the SETI My Account page the number of credits that I have earned is displayed twice. Once about the middle of the page and again at the bottom. There is consistantly a difference of about 3000 credits. This is less than a days work, but I am curious why the discrepancy between these numbers. Can anyone help me with this?

The difference is the one on the middle of the page is constantly updated. The one at the bottom of the page is recycled about once a day. This one is the one that is exported to other stat sites. Since it takes a huge hit on the database to do this, they only do it once a day.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it was some sort of timing thing, but this makes things clearer.

I have been amazed at how much crunching my new computer with an i7 processor is doing. An order of magnitude more than my Core 2 duo system is managing.
