I am getting ready for spring when my garden will be full of leaf hoppers, grasshoppers and CLODHOPPERS. Yes, I know that winter gardening tasks can be a real pain in the BABINSKI, but most of the time I just enjoy being outdoors.

Jim, I see that we have more than one SPECTATOR PUMPing up the pressure in this pun war. You set a brisk PACE my friend, but eventually I will get my STRIDE-RITE. I have a deep well of puns I can TAP. I'll just fall IN STEP here and before long I will be at the FINish line, PLANTARing my flag and FLIPPERing you off! You will be so impressed with my punning FEATs of strength that you will freeze-up and have to reBOOT. You will simply have no choice but to TOE-the-line.

Come on Jim - you know I'm Italian, right? Italians are famous for their shoes and heck, look at a map!!! You do know what the whole Italian peninsula is shaped like, right?

I must confess, you really have to be on the BALL to beat Jim in a foot and shoe pun war. His volley of puns sure has kept me ON MY TOES. Time and time again he has attempted to WAFFLE STOMP all over me. I am pretty sure that he has an ACHILLES HEEL, but I may have to hire a GUM SHOE to sleuth it out.

In some personal message exchanges with Jim, we have decided that we both need to TAKE A LOAD OFF. We both need to hold our horses, tame our cows and take our LITTLE PIGGIES to market. So we have decided to let you, our readers, decide which one of us is BIG FOOT and which one of us simply has ATHLETE'S FOOT.
