Speaking of Dorothea Wiever, the daugther of the alps, and cycling that she enjoys.

There are not so many Grand Tours for ladies.
I think there is a Giro d'Italia but apart from that there is none as I know of.
Now however Sweden, Norway and Denmark are planning together for a ten-day stage race for ladies in the Nordic countries.
The competition named "Battle of North" is supposed to be premiered in 2021.

Carapaz still leads. Now two more mountain legs and a time trial of only 17 km.

If no total disaster tomorrow, Carapaz is the winner of Giro d'Italia. Nibali second and Roglic or perhaps Landa third.
I thought Nibali would have attacked more today, but he didn't...

Nibal had watched Roglic. Both did not value Carapaz, who had Mikel Landa as a team mate. Roglic had no valid teammates. Stupid fans have damages Miguel Angel Lopez, who reacted by hitting the fan, and Roglic who did not react and was fined ten second, which may damage him tomorrow in the race for podium.

Lopez was obviously really angry. He smacked the fan's head, took his cap and drove away...
Perhaps Lopez will receive punishment for this.

Yes. He maybe realize that going for Maillot Jaune after this Giro is to much.
But he will go for Maillot Pois instead that is one of the most popular jerseys by the French public.
Vincenzo Nibali: “L’età non è un limite. Al Tour de France non farò classifica: voglio la maglia a pois”

Btw Nibali and Chris Froome are both 34 and Alejandro Valverde is 39:)

Soon it's the Tour de France. However Chris Froome can not race now.
Froome seriously injured himself during a training session in connection with the Criterium du Dauphine competition.

I am back from a 14 days holiday in Riccione on the Adriatic coast. I had shut down all my three computers plus a Virtual machine, keeping BOINC alive on my Ulefone cell phone running SETI and Einstein. On one of them I am running the Science United platform, which sends me mostly MilkyWay@home tasks. The BOINC adm sends me mails reporting my progress in Science United, but I haven't understood why I am credited with 22 LHC@home tasks which I have not been running on the Windows 10 PC which I dedicated to Science United.
I a waiting for the Tour de France to start. There is a Tour de Switzerland running reported on Italian Swiss TV. Peter Sagan is alive and winning.

I think we will see Egan Bernal quite often in the Tour de France.
Bernal is now the captain of team Ineos, former team Sky, instead of Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas who can't race.
