I see. Knödel and Schweinshaxe with Saurkraut. Well after all it's Tirolian food.
Schweinshaxe is about the same as Ossobucco but with pork instead of veal.
Here in Sweden we eat Schweinshaxe as well but served with mashed swedes.
Swedes:)

It's like turnips but with a milder taste.

A Milano plate called casseula includes ossobuco, sausages and sauerkrauts. Very healthy.

In Norway they called that dish Svineknoke and here Fläsklägg but without the sausages.
Hmm... Norwegians also eat that together with mashed swedes...

From skiing to cycling.
Nairo Quintana also from Colombia became second in Paris-Nice.
Rather strange since Paris-Nice aka "Race to the Sun" I don't belive have so many mountainous sections.

There are few plains in France like the Po valley in Italy. It is most an up and down country Now we shall see the Milano-Sanremo, the Giro delle Fiandre, the Parigi-Roubaix ,the Liege-Bastogne-Liege and the Amstel Gold Race, all on pave'. L'enfer du nord.

The PRISMA multispectral satellite of the Italian Space Agency has been launched by a VEGA launcher, also Italian, from the ESA base of Kourou and has entered orbit at a 635 km height. It will be used to observe the surface of the Earth at high resolution and transmit data on vegetation, seas, deserts and glace caps. It will have a three month testing period and start collecting data in June. The data will be sent to the Fucino antenna and processed in Matera by scientists of the Italian Space Agency.

In the last sprint competition for the season of the WC cross country skiing for ladies, in Canadian Quebec, it became a Swedish success:)
Stina Nilsson won the competition, but was hard followed by Maja Dahlqvist who finished second. Also on the podium Jonna Sundling that made it third.
Actually Petter Northug, the Norwegian ski legend, said before that Sweden can become the next Norway.
Maybe he is right. Hehe:)

Too much winning Norwegian men today in the skiing world if you ask me:)
It's all about Norway and us rest...
Time for us other nations to change tactics!

I thought the Norway season was over:)
Anyway. Alexander Kristof will start in Tour of Flanders next weekend that will be much tougher.
He won that race four years ago...
