Mars is on the way to us. Next month people will get a great look at the red planet. Maybe I'll have a party with a Mars theme. Hey, that's not to much of a reach is it?

Hello boys ;-) Im glad to see you around here, even if
im not. ;-D Well.. i am, but mostly lurking for 2 minutes
each time, and that`s not often.. sorry. ;-) It has been
nice weather the last days, but today this awful rain came
back.. and in just few minutes all onshore is as wet as the
ocean around us.. huh..

Well, ive had a lot to do last week, but it has also been
peaceful at home.. lol

Yesterday my two boys came back home from a week on a
holiday camp. ;-) They love it. And I love it. hehe

There they have lots of kids to play with all the time, and
grown ups who are there to be With them - all day. Must be
heaven, ehh? ;-D They are doing all kind of activities, and
also get to go in the BIG pool at least once every day.
My oldest have been there every year since he was 7. My
youngest went first time this year. Both were very happy
for it, and sad when the week was over. - even if they
both shouted; Home - dear home - when they went over our
door step. hehe

This camp its Red Cross who stands for. And its held on
the location of a big International school not too far away..
When holiday, its free for these kind of acitivties.
Can`t be other than highly recommended. ;-)

HI Moon. I remember back way back:) when i was a boy scout and we would go for two weeks on a camping trip. Was awesome getting away from your parents for a bit. But i still liked going home though! Glad you and your boys enjoyed your time apart. My kids are all grown up now, so enjoy them while they are still at home (even if they are a pain sometimes) .

Btw Ariz, what about that fishing trip on the boat your "bigger boy" went for, some days ago? Anyway, my compliments for the camp: I've never had this kind of experience, but I'm sure it's a great one!
Here is a bit late, but in holiday time I can stay here with no problems. I'm not so ready to take the bed path ;-)

Whatever he's saying, a warm welcome for the other Norwegian here ;-)) Hi Vextor!

Hi Dreamer... God only knows (And Moon of course) if what I wrote made any sense. It was supposed to be some basic small talk about the weather...

Mars in 2003

I just made the link active. I also suggest that you read the story. It's talking about the approach of mars in 2003. Your a little late for a Mars is comming party. I had a great one. I even bought a 10 inch Meade LX200GPS just for the event. The party was on the day of the closest approach and I had scopes tracking it from mars rise to mars set. It was great. We even had a custom red wine made just for the occasion. Sorry you missed it.

As for camping I just got back from a 3 nite camping trip with my kids. Funny thing is what you discribe as everyday life is what camping is for us. The ocean, seclusion, etc. Everyday life is kids, pool and adults all around. Still, it's good to spend time with the kids.

I got that - that is why I was laughing out loud! But I still wanted and want to know what champions the jokester was proposing would eat that!
By the way, still laughing every time I see the photos.
